Our team in North and East Scotland

I am a farmer’s son and purchased my first farm in Fife in 1988, before moving to Perthshire in 2002, where we farm 600 acres. This is a varied farm comprising arable, fruit, cattle and sheep. My youngest son has followed in my footsteps, currently farming at home with input from me (whether he listens or not!).

In addition, I worked as Joint Managing Director of livestock auctioneers Lawrie & Symington for 14 years and as an auctioneer for 17 years before that. As a Member of SAAV and also A.I.A. (Scot), I have huge experience of valuation work, remediation work and all other aspects of farming issues. I am lucky to cover one of the finest farming areas in the UK - the North and East of Scotland.
