 I have never heard of AMC Bank before. Can you tell me who you are please?

AMC Bank is a wholly owned subsidiary of The Agricultural Mortgage Corporation PLC which was established in 1928 to provide loans for farmers. Today, we are a leading lender to agricultural businesses. The Agricultural Mortgage Corporation and AMC Bank are both part of the Lloyds TSB Group.

 Can my company open an account?

An individual, company, limited company, partnership, limited liability partnership, trust, club, society, association, sole trader or charity can open an AMC High Interest Cheque Account.

 How can I monitor the interest rate?

The rate is published daily in the Financial Times. It can also be found here.

 Do you have different rates for different deposit amounts?

Our interest rate of 0.10% applies when the balance is above £5,000. 0.10% is also paid when the balance falls below £5,000. (Rates correct as at 11/02/2009)

 When is the interest credited to my account?

Interest is calculated daily on the cleared credit balance and is credited quarterly.

 Can I set up direct debits and standing orders?
